Overview
Electrical service upgrade and MEP coordination for a 320,000 sq ft advanced-manufacturing plant.
The brief
A new automated line needed a service the aging switchgear could not deliver, and the plant could tolerate almost no downtime for the cutover.
Our engineering approach
We designed a new 5 MW medium-voltage service with a coordinated protection scheme, phased the tie-ins around production, and ran full short-circuit, coordination, and arc-flash studies on the whole plant.
The outcome
The upgraded service supported the new line at full capacity, arc-flash incident-energy dropped into safer categories plant-wide, and the cutover was completed over a single planned weekend.

Every project starts with a set of drawings and a conversation. Let's have one.
